Join us at the Peace Pavilion at 607 W. Lexington Ave from 10 am to 4 pm for the Peace for the Planet Festival. Kids will make a bee craft or other eco-inspired creations, BA Botanicals will lead a planting project from 10 am – 11 am, and an Independence Parks and Recs representative will share information about how pollinators impact our local environment. Event activities are free. While you are there you may want to experience this interactive children’s museum, and receive a free baby spider plant with admission! The first 100 kids will receive free admission thanks to local sponsors including By George PR, McClain Restaurant Group, CRM Stores, & Independence Square Association.
