Now an annual tradition, our windows come to life with sounds and scenes from the holidays. Shops stay open late and a vendor fair will be in The Luxe Event Space at Maple Ave. and Liberty St. Walk the streets that were part of a Hallmark movie. Watch performances from the KC Women’s Chorus, Classic Christmas Carolers, and a handbell choir. There will be scenes acted out from A Christmas Carol and holiday movies. You’ll also find kittens and puppies available for adoption. Hot chocolate will be served at many coffee shops and cafes and special activities will be available throughout the district. Children can visit Santa at the offices of Independence Square Association at 106 S Liberty St.
