Join us as choirs, dancers, and Santa help light up the night. After a short program Santa will help us turn on over 1 mile of holiday lights. This year we are adding multiple life-size nutcrackers to our decor. Matt Stewart, Fox 4 reporter, will be our emcee for the evening. City of Independence Parks & Rec and Tourism will host Santa and Mrs. Claus after the lighting. Kids can visit with Santa in the Uptown Market where they can also make a North Pole craft and write a letter to Santa. Sleigh rides will also be available. The fun starts at 6 pm.
