Where Community meets Christmas!
The Independence Chamber of Commerce, Independence Square Association, and Visit Independence are coming together to create a new holiday tradition in the heart of Independence — the inaugural Independence Square Christmas Market.
Taking place Saturday, November 14, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., the Christmas Market will fill the historic Independence Square with holiday shopping, local makers, seasonal festivities, and plenty of Christmas cheer.
This special event was created in part to support the vendors whose participation and sales were impacted by the severe weather during this year’s SantaCaliGon Days festival. As part of this community partnership, SantaCaliGon vendors who were impacted by the weather are invited to participate in the Independence Square Christmas Market at no cost.
It’s a chance to see some of your favorite SantaCaliGon vendors in a whole new season — and to discover new local businesses and makers along the way.
Come shop local, find unique Christmas gifts, enjoy the holiday atmosphere, and help support the small businesses that help make our community special. Together, we can turn a challenging Labor Day weekend into an opportunity to celebrate the season and show our vendors that Independence supports its own.
Join us November 14 on the historic Independence Square for the Independence Square Christmas Market — where community meets Christmas!
